Black Entrepreneurs Leaders & Learners (BELL) is a San Diego-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on empowering Black and minority communities through entrepreneurship, ownership, and education. The organization offers specialized programs like business education, mentorship, and support with government contracting certifications to help members build generational wealth and secure corporate contracts. 

Black San Diego


Black San Diego (BSD) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on empowering the Black community in San Diego by supporting Black-owned businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals. The organization provides resources like a business directory, workshops, and events such as the Daygo Eats food festival to foster growth for local minority enterprises.

SD Melanin


SD Melanin is a San Diego-based organization founded in 2017 to curate social experiences fostering community and "Black joy" for professionals of color. The group hosts events such as networking happy hours, R&B parties, and festivals like the Kinfolk Fest Juneteenth Celebration to enhance the cultural ecosystem for minority residents.

Black Leadership Alliance Coalition (BLAC)


The Black Leadership Alliance Coalition (BLAC) is a San Diego-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit that aims to dismantle systemic barriers and internalized racism by cultivating confident Black leaders. The organization offers leadership training, career placement, and mental health support, including its EmpowerU program for young professionals.

The County of San Diego Black Chamber of Commerce (CSDBCC)


The County of San Diego Black Chamber of Commerce (CSDBCC) is a nonprofit organization focused on building generational wealth within Black communities through enterprise, education, and investment. The San Diego Voice & Viewpoint


The San Diego Voice & Viewpoint is the largest African American-focused publication in San Diego County, serving the region for over 60 years. It provides news and perspectives highlighting local people and events from an African American perspective, with commentary on social justice, education, and community growth.
